Vi (Vodafone and idea) is sim card and network provider company.
Why Vi going to close?
Because the tower company has money left with Rs.7000Cr in vi, this is the reason that the tower company is telling to vi pay us payment.
The tower provider's company name is INDUS.
This is scary to close Vodafone and idea.
Vodafone idea was merged by 31 August 2018, and whenever they merged that time IDEA was owned 17.80% and Vodafone owned was 28.5% share percent of company of vi.
Whenever Vodafone is came to India at 28 October 2005 that time they announced that acquisition of a 10 percent stack in India's Bharti Enterprises.Then 11 Febuary 2007 they acquire to Hutch Essar for 11.1 US Billion Dollar and give new name to Hutch Essar to Vodafone and after they pushed IDEA in 2018 and then became the vi. This is the history of Vodafone.
